Solveig Andersson

image

Solveig has been composing since she played the recorder at the age of 8. She later on studied violin at Ingesund 1973-1976, Denmark 1975-1978, Nordic Music Conservatory 1978-1980 and the Royal College of Music in Stockholm 1980-1984. A lot of her works can be purchased at Svensk Musik. The greatest and most "remarkable" memory from her studies is 2 years of lessons with Varoujan Kodjian. He graduated as a soloist at the Paris Conservatory of Music when he was 14 and was then a student of Jascha Heifetz for 5 years in the USA.
